About Us
Cayenne Mediterranean Cafe offers its patrons an unbeatable
combination: a relaxed, informal atmosphere and a wide
selection of marvelous dishes. The owners, Sam Amad and
Noura Elnasser, who as friends and business partners "go way back"
(to quote Noura) bring to the table more than twenty years of
experience in the restaurant industry, both in the San Fernando
Valley and on the West Side. Their previous restaurants
include Cafe Valentino Los Angeles, Cafe Valentino Burbank, Cafe
Metro, and Mango Cafe. Sam has a passion for Lebanese
cuisine, Noura for Italian, French and Moroccan. They work together harmoniously
in creating a fusion of flavors from the Mediterranean region.
Exquisite meals are prepared from fresh organic ingredients
seasoned with garlic, mint, parsley, cumin and olive oil. Noura learned much of what she knows
from her travels and from her greatest inspiration: her mother, who currently
bakes luscious cakes and desserts for Cayenne Cafe.
